Four stages where responsibility is clear and the condition for moving on is written down.

Work front taken over, facilities, people and plant in place. Scope split and interfaces confirmed in writing.

Work delivered to the construction design, with continuous front coordination and progress reporting.

Inspection
Hold points tied to stages. An element closes only once its check is confirmed, not once the package is finished.

Punch list closed, documentation compiled, scope handed over formally.

Mechanical installation
Mounting structures and mechanical elements installed within design tolerances.

Module installation
Modules installed following the handling rules the manufacturer requires.

DC cabling
Direct-current side installed, labelled and ready for testing.

AC works and inverters
Installation works at alternating-current equipment.

MV support
Supporting works on medium-voltage cable routes.

Testing and commissioning support
Participation in testing within our own works, and acting on the results.

Remedial works and punch list
Closing out the scope: clearing observations and completing outstanding work.

Quality as part of the programme
Control is not a separate stage at the end. It is the condition for closing out every element of scope.

Prepare
Scope split into stages, with hold points and documentation requirements agreed before the start.

Execute
Work to the design and to manufacturers’ instructions, with deviations recorded and agreed.

Checks carried out while an element can still be corrected without dismantling it.

Records produced alongside the work, ready at handover.

Why this works
Pace comes from preparation, not from rushing
On a PV site the programme usually slips not because of working speed but because of unclosed decisions: who owns an interface, what counts as a finished element, and where the documentation is.

What actually slows a build
Four things that cost more time than the work itself
In our experience a programme rarely slips because work is going slowly. It slips on decisions nobody closed.

An interface with no owner
An item both sides assume belongs to the other. It surfaces only once it is blocking the next front.

A vague definition of "done"
A stage treated as closed with no record confirming it. It comes back at handover, when the correction costs many times more.

Inspection after covering
A check carried out once the element can no longer be corrected without dismantling. Formally there is a check; practically there is not.

Documentation after the fact
Records reconstructed from memory once the work is finished. Handover becomes an exercise in recalling site history rather than confirming a state.
All four can be removed before mobilisation. None of them needs more people on site — only decisions written down.
